Headmaster Returns

[Teishu]

Teishu flew through the air while riding what appeared to be a surfboard, a sparkling green spray trailing behind her. She dropped in low over the sports field, kicking the front end up sharply before jumping off and catching hold of her board. She paused for a moment to take in the view of her school. She smiled and took a deep breath before walking off into the school. She made a stop by her office and made an announcement.

"All students are to congregate in the cafeteria for an announcement." she put down the microphone and headed off to the cafe herself, after dropping her board in the corner.

Once all the students had gathered, she began speaking, "Welcome. I'm sure some of you are aware of the strange things going on. Some of you may have noticed strange creatures called skyfish floating through the air and you should all be aware of the strange mushroom-like coral, called scub coral, that has sprouted just outside of our fair city. Well, I have some good news, you're not crazy. I also have better news, the scub coral emits an energy being called trapar that can be ridden on like a wave; and the best part is, I have brought with me prototypes of a device called a Reflection Board, Ref Board for short." Teishu motioned to the doors of the cafeteria and a few men in lab coats pushed in a huge rack fill with ref boards [see image below]. "The coral seem to be friendly right now so, my only request for you, my students, is to take these boards and have fun!"

Liroj arrive at the cafeteria just as Teishu Sensei starts to explain things to the ref board's and the mushroom ting at the city border. As he waited for her to finish he took a board to take a closer look at it. Slowly raises his hand as Teishu Sensei finishes explaining things and waits for his turn to ask.

[Helbram]

Hearing the comms crackle the voice of a lady, ringed in his ears, he was currently in his own room, trying to do his homework, he disliked to leave his homework half finished but he supposed he did not have a choice in the matter (no really he wanted to know what was going on with that mushroom thingy and those things he saw in the sky?)

He made his way to the cafeteria arriving just on time to hear the annoucement, it only brought up more questions than answers though, the boy studied the woman again last time he saw her was during the arrival of all students and that was a while back. She did not seem like the kind that was slacking off at work or so he assumed anyway. But she did seem kinda, relaxed? Helbram did not know if he could trust her, those hover boards did not seem that safe.

[Phantom]

Yuuki's eyes were trained right on her paper as she scribbled furiously. She wanted to get this essay done and out of the way as quickly as possible. She winced internally as her sensitive ears picked up the crackling of the intercoms overhead. A woman's voice rang through her voice, telling all students to meet in the cafeteria. At this time? What for? Yuuki stood up away from her desk, and made her way out of the dorms and to the cafeteria. She pushed open the large mahogany doors and made her way to her usual spot at the side. Looked like she was one of the last ones to enter.

She eyed the unfamiliar woman up front as she started speaking. Yrah, Yuuki did notice the skyfish and the coral, but she didn't pay much attention to them. At that time, they weren't important. a reflection board? Sounded interesting. She examined the boar. Streamlined shape, similar to that of a narrower and slimmer snowboard.... yeah, Yuuki could work with that. As the woman dismissed them, she was one of the first to stand up and walk over to the boards, admiring their texture and shape. She reached our a hand to brush along one, and wasn't surprised to find it was made of a very lightweight material she couldnt exactly idenfity. She zeroed on a sleek silver and blue one, and grabbed it from the rack, and made her way back to her seat.

[Teishu]

Teishu watched with a smile on her face as the students began to examine the ref boards. After a few moments, it seemed that one had a question. She pointed at him, "Yes? You have a question?"

[Liroj]

Liroj looks at Teishu sensei as he nods "Well, not exactly a question but could you demonstrate how it works sensei?" he looks down at the board hoping that she will show how it works.

[Helbram]

So its basically a surf board but in the air? Helbram held out his hand in question but quickly retracted it, he stuffed his mouth with a lollipop again as he stepped closer to the hover board. His fingers ran across the sleek surface of a hover board.

With a simple kick he pulled the Hover board loose from the rack where it was sitting, it landed with a thud on the floor, testing out the material he figured it was quite light. The engines suddenly ignited, Helbram put both of his arms inside his pocket as he stepped on the hover board, with a small smile on his lips the boy spoke. I supposed i could give it a try then... The Hover board started to gain height before it kicked off at mach 5, giving off a red stream where it flew, in a matter of seconds the boy was out of the school grounds. It was easy enough to steer it if you had surfed or been out skiing before.

He felt the rush in his ears, the smooth air smothering his skin as he raced forward, following the currents which where directed, this way he could get around the city pretty handily. He wanted to take a closer look at this hover board of his, maybe customize it to improve its speed and looks.

[Erzulie]

It was a clear night. The full moon shone on Erzulie's alter, assembled in the school's garden. As she was about to begin her incantation, she felt a cool breeze wisp over her head. She looked up to witness headmaster Teishu flying above on an unrecognizable contraption. Usually, nothing can distract Erzulie from performing spells, but that occurrence was particularly strange. She could not focus on what she was performing. Instead of trying again, she began to gather her dagger, white cloth, and oils in her backpack. While walking back to her dorm, she heard on the loud speaker, "All students are to congregate in the cafeteria for an announcement." She knew right away the topic of discussion was the UFO, but she did not know whether the news was positive or negative. When she walked into the academy, she saw all the students walking casually to the cafeteria. She followed the crowd and settled in quickly, eager to hear what this meeting was all about.

[Erzulie]

Erzulie listened to Teishu closely as she raved on about the Ref Boards. Many of Erzulie's peers were amazed at this new mode of transport. The young mambo's attention was not drawn to the awesome Ref Boards, but to the barely mentioned trapar, the energy on which the Ref Board is ridden. Teishu flew over information about the coral just as she had Erzulie's head moments earlier. Erzulie also observed the attire of the men handling the Ref Boards. "Why are those men handling the Ref Boards in lab coats?", she thought, but she knew better than to ask.
