Elaria arrived at Midnight City's Mall, she needed to kill some time, and was hoping to run into a good deal on any kind of clothing or other dodads that might interest her. "Wonder if any of the students or Teishu is here right now..." she mumbled, walking into the huge Mall. It was a bit un-populated compared to other malls, but she was there an hour or two before lunch hour.

While Elaria looked into one of the shops, screams of terror could be heard from outside. People from the outside rushed into the mall and people inside rushed to the windows to see what was going on. Many of them had their phones out and were filming the mayhem. Anyone with internet access would now see that a massive, mushroom-like, coral had sprouted from the earth, just outside the city.

Helbram was visiting the library in the city, he was checking out the books while looking for nothing in particular he had gotten the library card. Barely had he the time to check more than a handfull of books before the commotion started outside, having his ear phones on the boy could not hear a thing though. "I wonder what i should have for dinner today..." Having a really old styled recorder had its advantages.
